生平
萊奧波爾德·赫施生于科隆，父亲为工厂主企业家沃尔夫冈·赫施（Wolfgang Hoesch）（1941年1月7日生于法兰克福，2011年10月29日卒于伦山前比绍夫斯海姆），母亲为亚力桑德拉·赫施（Alexandra Hoesch）（1941年7月16日生，婚前姓冯·普福尔（von Pfuel））。他是工业家维克多·赫施（Viktor Hoesch）的第四代孙子以及库尔特-克里斯托弗·亚历山大·冯·普福尔（Curt-Christoph Alexander von Pfuel）的外孙。
